По правому берегу.
Заедем в Плес, а оттуда через Приволжск и Волгореченск. Я так уже ездил в 2003-м, и несмотря на 2 пересадки, дорога весьма удобная была.

В 2003-м мы хотели из Костромы в Плес идти на "Метеоре", а он оказался сломан.
